22 DEGREE SUN HALO

A 22 degree Sun halo captured at 15.00 BST on April 2nd 2007 from my back garden. The halo was spotted while I was mowing the lawn. Fist used to block glare of sun. ISO64/ SP1000/ Hand held. The colours of the halo are very obvious. The halo was visible from 13.20 - 16.00 BST. Fine sunny warm day with scattered cirrostratus cloud which caused the display. Martin Mc Kenna.
